On the 1st September, Twitter launched ‘Super Follows’, a new way for content creators to make money through exclusive content with their most loyal and engaged followers.
Followers will see a special public badge on creators profile page that offer ‘Super Follower’ content, and can pay a monthly fee for ‘behind the scenes’ or ‘1-2-1’ exclusive content from their favourite profiles.
Twitter themselves have said that creating Super Follows content is for anyone who brings their unique perspectives and personalities to Twitter to drive the public conversation. These include activists, journalists, musicians, content curators, writers, gamers, astrology enthusiasts, skincare and beauty experts, comedians, fantasy sports experts, and more.
Super Follows is currently open in the US and set to become worldwide in the next few weeks.
