Ever craved McFlurry so badly, driven to McDonald’s, queued up for ages, only to find the ice-cream machine is broken? Same here…

It’s happened too many times, and 24 year-old software engineer, Rashiq Zahid, felt he had to do something about it.

Introducing, ‘McBroken’, the website that tracks which McDonald’s restaurants have a working ice-cream machine and which are broken in the US.

McBroken displays a map of every McDonald’s location in the US, denoted by clusters of dots. Locations with a working ice-cream machine get a green dot; locations without one, a red dot.

Simple but effective. I wish we had this in the UK too!
