Google is rolling out a new feature that lets users snooze notifications from their Google Calendar on desktop.
With the new update, hitting snooze will make the notification reappear one minute before the scheduled time, making it less likely that you’ll forget about the meeting. Each time you hit “Re-snooze”, this gives you five more minutes, although this can be all customised within the settings.
With working from home the normal for most of us, the snooze feature is just one of many recent updates to the Google Calendar to help us in this new work reality.
Google recently launched ‘Repeating out of office entries’ and ‘Segmenting working hours into multiple segments each day’ – some nice features to help us structure our working day from home.
