Clubhouse is the exclusive app which provides audio-based social interaction. Giving its surge in popularity since launch, there’s been no shortage of rivals trying to get in on the action.
Clubhouse has proven the model can allow professionals to form meaningful connections around a niche topic or industry. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that LinkedIn will soon offer its own ‘Audio Rooms’ feature.
LinkedIn’s app will enable audio discussions, with speakers listed at the top and listeners at the bottom. Once live, this may slow down Clubhouse’s rise to popularity.
Unfortunately for Clubhouse, Twitter and Facebook are also working on audio interaction features. However the trend certainly seems the most relevant for LinkedIn right now, which, after all, is for professional networking.
