You may have noticed over the past couple of days that some users have pronouns in their profile bio. This is because Instagram has added a ‘Pronouns’ option, allowing users to let others know how they like to be referred to.
To access this feature, just head to your profile, select ‘edit profile’ and then ‘edit pronouns’. These pronouns do not have to be seen by everyone, you can simply toggle between your pronouns being public or to be seen by who follows you.
LinkedIn has also recently added pronouns onto their user profiles. With these new updates it gives control over to the user and allows them to validate their identity and be proud of who they are.
