Hide Like Counts on Facebook and Instagram | Vouch Global

Starting today, you can now hide your like counts on Facebook and Instagram.

We know this feature has been in the works for 2 years and, since it was met with mixed reactions from users, Facebook and Instagram have now given the option to the user.

For marketers, likes are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to measuring performance. When it comes to brand engagement, saves, shares and comments are just as important.

Looking at paid social performance, web traffic and conversions are typically the most important KPIs for us at Vouch, as social media becomes more eCommerce focused.

We do however have to consider that likes do help us gauge what is trending/popular.

Perhaps giving control to the users is the final test from Facebook and Instagram, as they may still remove likes for good if the data suggests so. Will you hide your like count?
