Eminem is the latest celebrity to become a member of the famous ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club’ (BAYC) NFT collection, purchasing the #9055 artwork, nicknamed ‘EminApe’.
Created by NFT Artist GeeGazza, the artwork is accessorised with a khaki army cap and gold necklace, breaking resemblance to the American rapper’s style.
Eminem purchased the NFT artwork for 123.45 ETH on OpenSea, which was roughly £340k. The piece forms one of several in the rapper’s portfolio, ‘Shady_Holdings’.
