Naked Attraction is a very controversial show here in the UK, people either love it or hate it. The show asks contestants to pick somebody for a date based on their naked bodies from the neck down.
On the side of London buses, Channel 4’s ad displays arrows pointing up to passengers on the top floor suggesting they ‘Love Naked Attraction’, ‘Love Naked Attraction’ or ‘Love Being Naked’.
This advertisement has had 25 complaints to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority), labelling it “offensive, harmful, inappropriate and irresponsible for making light of sexual assault”.
Here at Vouch we feel that whilst it’s great to get your marketing efforts noticed, this campaign misses the mark by causing controversy and potentially damaging the brand’s image.
