Just like TikTok, Instagram has now launched its own auto-caption feature to improve accessibility across the platform.
Simply add the caption sticker to your Instagram story and it will auto generate the caption for you. They may not be correct all the time, but you can still go back and edit them, as well as customise the colour, positioning and font so it appeals more to your target audience.
With the addition of this feature, Instagram has enabled brands to communicate to a wider audience, either with sound on or off.
For now, auto-captions are only available in English, but will be rolled out for other languages soon, and also will be made available for Facebook stories too.
