Since 2017, Shopify has driven more than $20bn worth of sales across the globe, making it one of the most popular conversion website platforms on the internet, and now they are making their swift checkout process, Shop Pay available through Facebook and Instagram.
Launching in the US first (and hopefully later this year for the UK), customers can now pay via Shop Pay when purchasing through Facebook and Instagram shops.
Reported by Shopify themselves, checkout on Shop Pay within the Shopify platform for Shopify merchants makes a checkout 70% faster than the typical checkout and brings a 1.72x higher conversion rate. This translates to fewer abandoned carts and more conversions.
